Sikacem® Accelerator is a non-chloride hardening accelerator formulated to increase the early strength of concrete, mortars, and grouts without affecting the initial workability. Sikacem® Accelerator meets the requirements of ASTM C494 Type C accelerating admixtures and of AASHTO M 194 Type C.

Applications

Ideal for producing high early-strength concrete, Sikacem® Accelerator delivers excellent results in normal or very hot conditions, or when high early strengths are required. Conventional accelerators speed the initial set of the concrete, making it unworkable after a short time. Sikacem® Accelerator is designed for applications where it is preferable not to accelerate the initial set of the concrete (slump loss) but where high early strengths must be reached within a specified time.

Advantages

Can be used with SikaGrout®-212, SikaGrout®-212 HP, SikaGrout®-300 PT, and SikaGrout®-277 Cable grouts. Can be used with SikaQuick®, Sikacrete®-08 SCC/-211 Flow PLUS, SikaTop®-111/-122/-123 PLUS, and Sika MonoTop®-623 F repair mortars. Fast form stripping and reuse of formwork. Faster finishing on flat surfaces. Effective with Type GU, Type MS, and Type HE cements. Increases early strength and speeds repair work. Approved by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA)
