Applications

As an anticorrosion coating for reinforcing steel: For repairs to reinforced concrete where the reinforcing steel is corroding. As preventive protection for reinforcing steel in thin sections of reinforced concrete. As a bonding agent for use on concrete, mortar, and steel: For concrete repairs using SikaTop Plus, Sika MonoTop, and SikaRepair repair/patching mortars. To bond new concrete and mortar to old concrete.

Advantages

Excellent adhesion to steel and concrete. Acts as an effective barrier against the penetration of water and chlorides. Is not a vapor barrier. Contains anticorrosive agents. Provides an excellent bonding coat for subsequent applications of repair mortar. Extended working time. Unaffected by moisture. Very high mechanical strength. Pre-proportioned, ready to use. Can be gun-applied. Non-flammable. Contains no solvents. Approved by the Quebec Ministry of Transportation.
