Description

SikaGrout®-212 is a high-quality, non-shrink cementitious grout that has proven itself over many years. It has a unique two-stage shrinkage-compensating formulation, compensating for shrinkage in the plastic and hardened states. Non-metallic, it contains no chlorides and can be placed in a firm or fluid state by simply adjusting the quantity of mixing water. A sulphate-resistant version (SikaGrout®-212 SR) is also available, as well as a silica fume-modified version (SikaGrout®-212 HP). Consult the individual technical data sheets for each product.

Applications

Applications below, above, or at grade, both indoors and outdoors. Structural grout for column bases, machinery bases, anchor bolts, bearing plates, bridge bearings, and precast wall panels. For projects where grout consistency must be adjustable and strength gain accelerated.

Premixed for easy application and maximum control on the jobsite. Simply add water, mix, and place. Versatile material that can be produced at variable consistencies, from stiff to fluid, by adjusting the water content. Reducing the water content accelerates strength development and ultimate compressive strength. Non-corrosive; contains no chlorides. Formulated with inert, non-reactive aggregates to eliminate any possibility of alkali-aggregate reaction (AAR). Easy to pump - no segregation even in a fluid state
no buildup in the feed hoppers. Low heat of hydration. Superior freeze-thaw resistance. Product qualified by The Road Authority (TRA). Conforms to Hydro Ontario specification M-690-87 for an injection pump and hoses up to 60 m (196 pi). Approved by the Quebec Ministry of Transportation (MTQ) as a sealing grout for anchor bolts and reinforcing bars in concrete. Approved by the Alberta Ministry of Transportation. Product recognized by the British Columbia Ministry of Transportation. Conforms to H. A. Simons grout specifications, 1S-05.01 (grout types 1, 2a, 2b, 2c, 3, and 4). Conforms to ASTM C1107 (type C grout).
