Applications

Intended for use in all moving joints with a minimum depth of 6 mm (1/4 po). Ideal for horizontal applications. Can be used at temperatures as low as 4 °C (39 °F). Bonds to most substrates used in construction. Joints in immersed environments such as canals and reservoirs. Ideal for joints subject to vehicular traffic.

Advantages

Capable of joint movement of ± 50%. True self-leveling properties. Its chemical curing allows it to be placed in joints exceeding 13 mm (1/2 po) in depth. High elasticity with a durable, strong, and flexible consistency. Exceptional resistance to cuts and tears. Exceptional unprimed adhesion to most substrates. Available in 40 architectural colors. Color uniformity is ensured by the Color-pak system. Offered in Limestone Grey (Color-pak not required). Self-leveling consistency, easy to apply in horizontal joints. Easy to mix. Can be painted with water-based, oil-based, and rubber-based paints. Resists kerosene. USDA approved. Sikaflex 2c Booster accelerator available to promote curing in cold weather. Complies with ASTM C920, Type M, Grade P, Class 25, Use T, NT, M, G, A, O, I. Complies with Federal Specification TT-S-00227E, Type I, Class A. Complies with Federal Specification TT-S-001543A.
