Applications

Designed for all types of joints with a maximum depth of 13 mm (1/2 po) and 35% movement. Excellent for narrow and fillet joints: windows, door frames, metal siding, glazing, and many construction applications. Suitable for vertical and horizontal joints. Many applications as an elastic adhesive between materials with different coefficients of expansion. Immersion conditions such as canal and reservoir joints. Ideal for: weatherproofing of joints between masonry, wood, and concrete or metal frames
joints in walls, floors, and balconies, around windows and door frames
expansion joints
roofing work.

Advantages

Capable of joint movement of ± 35%. Eliminates the time, effort, and equipment required for mixing, cartridge filling, and equipment cleanup. After curing, very strong and durable, with a flexible consistency and exceptional tear resistance. Excellent adhesion - Bonds to most construction materials, without a primer coat in most cases. Excellent resistance to aging and weathering. Easy application at 4 °C (39 °F). Resists fuels, mineral oils, diluted minerals, and vegetable and animal fats. Odorless and non-staining. Can be recoated with water-based, oil-based, and rubber-based paints. Because some paints dry slowly and the surface may remain slightly tacky, a preliminary test is essential. Complies with CAN/CGSB 19.13-M87, Classification MCG-2-25-B-N. Complies with U.S. Federal Specification TT-S-00230C, Type II, Class A. Complies with U.S. Federal Specification TT-S-00227E. Complies with ASTM C920, Grade NS, Class 35. Use T, NT, O, M, G, I. Resists jet fuel. ANSI/NSF 61 approved for contact with potable water (Black, White, Colonial White, Aluminum Gray, Capitol Tan, Limestone, and Dark Bronze colors only). Urethane-based, suggested by the EPA for controlling radon emissions. USDA approved (chemically acceptable for use in meat and poultry preparation areas under federal jurisdiction). Meets CFIA requirements for applications in food-processing plants. Approved by the Quebec Ministry of Transportation. Product qualified by The Road Authority (TRA). Validated by SWRI. Product recognized by the British Columbia Ministry of Transportation.
