Applications

Anchoring of rebar or threaded rods in solid concrete, masonry structures (stone, brick, construction blocks), and stone. Horizontal and vertical applications requiring slow set times and longer working times. Suitable for deep, scattered holes. Exterior applications subject to dynamic loads and vibration. Structural anchoring of steel in concrete for applications such as safety barriers, balcony railings, guardrails, racking and shelving systems, machinery, gantry cranes, masonry supports, stadium seating, and reinforcing or starter bars.

Advantages

Supplied in twin cartridges (1:1 ratio). Styrene-free and odor-free. Versatile product that can be applied either as an adhesive or as an anchoring gel. Sets in dry, damp, or wet conditions. Cures down to 0 °C (32 °F) when the product is preconditioned to 5 °C (41 °F). Cures without creating expansion pressure. Working time and gel time that allow anchors to be placed in deep holes spaced far apart. Allows fasteners to be positioned close to free edges. Suitable for chemical anchors, threaded rods, and reinforcing steel. Suitable for work in cracked and uncracked concrete. Resistant to a wide range of chemicals, including aqueous solutions of aluminum chloride (at saturation) and aluminum nitrate (10% concentration), aviation fuel, diesel fuel, domestic kerosene, and many other substances at temperatures of 75 °C (167 °F), while retaining at least 80% of its physical properties. (Refer to the Chemical Resistance Guide for details.) Can support high loads. Approvals. ETAG 001: Part 1 – Approval pending. ICC ES approved. AC 3608 ESR: for cracked and uncracked concrete. IAPMO approved.
