1100 water-based concrete curing compound is formulated from hydrocarbon resins and may be used on horizontal or vertical concrete surfaces, indoors as well as outdoors. Once applied, 1100 forms a premium-grade membrane that ensures maximum water retention in freshly placed concrete for complete hydration of the cement. NOTE: The membrane begins to chemically break down under UV exposure after approximately four weeks and will eventually disappear from the surface. This process is accelerated by exposure to traffic and UV, as well as weather conditions. This product was formerly called 1100-CLEAR,

Applications

1100 is used on interior or exterior surfaces. Paint, resilient flooring, or resilient tile can be applied to floors cured with 1100 once the product has dissipated and been properly removed. Because of the very wide variety of cladding, paints, adhesives, and surface coatings, contact the flooring, surface-coating, or finish-cladding manufacturer for approval for concrete floors cured with resin-based curing agents. A small application test is always recommended.
