Description
The HB-213 is an adjustable veneer anchor for steel stud and wood stud construction.
The L-shaped plate section has numerous ribs for greater strength and 9/32″ holes for connection screws.
The eyelets allow insertion of the 2X-HOOK™ (pin) (maximum allowable eccentricity of 1 1/4″) and are sized to prevent in-and-out movement beyond the allowable tolerances.
The compressed 2X-HOOK™ leg has been tested and designed to resist more than 200 lbf, in tension or compression, at a maximum allowable offset (ACI 530 6.2.2.5.5.4) of 1-1/4" (disengagement of the veneer anchor pivot). These results exceed BIA recommendations and the capacities of "round wire" hooks by more than 100%.
